"Differences between Japan and Australian Culture"
I experienced a homestay during this trip. It is valuable to mention the difference in culture. It was totally different from different from Japanese culture, so I was puzzled at first, but had a splendid time overall. In addition, Aussie English was slightly different from the English that I usually hear, due to dialect, so it was fresh and fun!
At first, I was impressed by how neatly maintained the roads are because Japanese roads are small and not maintained neatly to the sidewalk, like in Australia. And I was impressed by the class form of Australian school, too. Japanese class is serene because the teacher only talks one-sidedly. In brief, there is little “communication” with the students. I think that a class becomes more fun with communication between the teacher and students.
While I stayed in Australia elsewhere, I also felt a lot of difference in culture. I appreciate the host family who allowed me to have such a valuable experience. I won’t forget my memories of Australia.

私は今回の旅行でホームステイを体験しました。文化の違いに触れる貴重な時間でもありました。日本の文化と全く違うので最初は戸惑いましたが、とても素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。加えて、訛りで普段聞いている英語とは少し違うので、新鮮で楽しかったです。
　日本の道路は狭く、オーストラリアの道路みたいにあまり整備されていないので最初、私はオーストラリアの道路のきれいさに感動しました。そして、私はオーストラリアの学校の授業形式にも感動しました。日本の授業形式は先生が一方的に話しているだけなので淡々としています。要するに生徒との「コミュニケーション」が少ないです。私は先生と生徒とのコミュニケーションによって授業がより楽しくなると思っています。
　他にもオーストラリアに滞在している間、文化の違いを感じられることはたくさんありました。このような貴重な体験をさせてくれたホストファミリーにとても感謝しています。オーストラリアでの思い出を一生忘れません。
